Motion Students is designed to help middle school and high school students move forward into all God has for their lives. We’re so passionate about students experiencing the love of God and seeing them step into the incredible purpose and plan God has for their life right now. We believe schools in our city will be changed as students are empowered to advance His Kingdom.

We encourage the students of COM to be involved in everything we do from inviting, participating in a HOME Gathering, and serving on the Dream Team. Motion Students are on the front lines leading in our church and we wouldn't have it any other way. We believe this present generation of students has the potential to be used by God in a way that surpasses every other generation in history.

HOME Gathering //

During this season, our Student Ministry is modeled after the Acts Church (Acts 2:42-47), which is what we call HOME Gatherings: Houses of Meaningful Encounters.

We believe that there is no junior Holy Spirit, and that our children carry the same power as we do, and release the life of Jesus IN them in ALL areas of their life.

What you can expect at a YHG:

Our Youth Home Gathering is for students ages 6th grade - 12th grade.

We meet on Fridays from 6:30pm-9pm.

Location may vary, so please contact us to find out where we will be meeting. Once we have your contact information, we send out emails with details each week.

Relevant contemporary worship: We join together and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth!

Relevant topics, word of God, and application: We have a discussion time based on what Father has revealed to us for that meeting, and we use the message from our Sunday services to help students understand its application. During this time, students have an opportunity to ask questions that are a bit confusing to them, and sometimes they surprise us with the revelation they receive and release at these meetings!

Equipping: the Church is called to equip the saints, so we are helping to equip our youth to live out their calling.

Special events and activities: every month we attend events and join in fun activities apart from our normal meetings. We do these events as a family, and this helps build the community around our children together with other families.

And....there is always food and fellowship.
