What You Come to Know (Ginosko) Matters

Jesus doesn’t just give us one touch and then leave us on our own. We often only think of the gifts of the Spirit and specifically the power gifts when we think of releasing the life of Christ.  However, there is so much more that the Father is doing and desires to do through you! His will and ways are now our choice and in order to do, say, and go where He leads, we must be willing to break old mindsets that we may be filtering His voice through. For Pastor For Pastor Brooke, believing that releasing the gifts of the Spirit was the primary way He moved was hindering her from seeing other parts of Jesus and other ways that He was moving. If the word says that by abiding in Him, He abides in us, then we should be secure in knowing that the more we come to know (ginosko) Him, the more we will live by His life rather than by our mind, will, and emotions.
