Disciples of Jesus live from the vantage point of the finished work of the cross. Jesus did not die on a cross just to forgive your sins that one day you can go to heaven. It's so much bigger than this. He died and said it is finished so that when you receive this finished work, you become a new creation; he puts His nature in you; His Spirit in you; His identity in you; Heaven in you; so now you can become what you we’re always intended to be from the beginning apart from sin
