The Truth shall set you free

The devil has no power/authority in your life unless you give him authority. You have to allow him place in your life. We do this by coming into agreement with his lies. The devils only weapon is deception. Deceit is his only power, and the thing about deceit, it's only powerful if you believe it. This is why it's so important in a culture full of lies and manipulation, we expose the lies and speak truth. When you understand the only way the devil can advance his agenda in people is through agreement with his lies, it's clear why Jesus said "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free". Because when you know the truth, you won't be deceived. And if you're not deceived, he can't advance his agenda in your life.
