No confidence in the flesh/the flesh profits nothing

What would it look like to be at a place where you have no confidence in the flesh? Sure the flesh serves a purpose, but it has to take its rightful place if we're going to see the Kingdom of God/life of Christ manifested in our lives. Paul in Philippians 3 said he has no confidence in the flesh. If anyone could put their identity in the flesh (i.e. accomplishments, accolades, achievements), it would have been Paul. But he said all that stuff is worthless compared to "knowing Christ". Jesus said in John 6 that the "flesh profits nothing". But living from our born again Spirit profits everything.
