First Impressions Team (FIT)

FIT strives to provide an environment where everyone has a loving, fun, welcoming, and excellent experience. FIT has 8 different ministry areas you can serve in.

Parking Team: This fun and enjoyable team is truly the first impression of Church of Motion! This team directs traffic, helps guests find parking spots, holds fun signs, and is the first to greet guests as they arrive at Church of Motion.

Greeters: This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Church of Motion. They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement, and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

Security/Medical Team: This team makes sure our campus is safe and secure at our Friday services and other events. They also provide any medical attention that is required at our services/events.

Connect Station: This is the headquarters for anyone who has questions about getting connected at Church of Motion. This team helps guests get connected at COM through Discover COM, Motion Groups, and Outreach.

Hospitality: This team makes sure our café is stocked and ready for the arrival of guests on Friday. This team also oversees all decorating, preparation, and setup/teardown of COM events.

Cleaning: This team makes sure all of our environments are clean, stocked, and ready for all guests to have an excellent experience at COM.

Ushers: This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by going above and beyond to welcome and honor them, assisting them to a seat, passing out bulletins, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

Setup/Tear Down Team: This team comes in on Thursdays and sets up signage. Fridays after service, this team helps take down, and put all signage away.

Welcome Home Team

This team welcomes and takes care of all our first time guests on a Friday. From welcoming/showing guests around when they arrive, to giving them a gift after service, this team makes sure our VIP’s have a great first experience at Church of Motion. This team also oversees all aspects of the Welcome Home Party and Discover Events.

Fresh Start Team

This team connects with those who made a "Fresh Start" with God at one of our Friday services to celebrate encourage, and come alongside them with clear next steps to start strong in their journey with Christ.

Motion Kids: (6wks – 5th Grade)

This team helps provide a place that kids love, so they can experience a loving God, and live out their purpose. Through worship, videos, skits, small groups, games and more, this team intentionally invests in the lives of our children and provides a place where they can learn about Jesus on their level.

Motion Students: (Middle and High School)

This team helps provide environments where students can experience the love of God, and be empowered to be the leaders in their generation God has created them to be. Our student group meets on Wednesday's at 6:30pm at the church.

Motion Worship

With vocals or instruments, this dynamic team serves to prepare the way for our church family to encounter the power and presence of God.

Motion Live

This team provides the creativity and tech aspects of our service. This team includes lyrics, sound/audio, camera operator, lighting, and other visual elements within service.
